The cast hails from four different CBS reality properties: Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Love Island. Some had their time cut painfully short, while a handful have gone on to claim the win. But no matter how they did previously, they’re all in the same boat as they face a brand-new game on The Challenge, which will put them through physically and mentally grueling competitions and eliminations. Every season of The Challenge features a twist on the familiar format, and The Challenge: USA is no different. According to a press release from CBS, each contestant starts the game with $1,000 in their individual bank account. Every episode, a behind-the-scenes algorithm will pair them up, and they’ll compete to earn money for their accounts through either winning the daily challenge or an elimination. Their end goal: Make it to the end and earn not only a prize of $500,000 and the title of Challenge Champion, but also a spot on an upcoming global showdown with the winners from the British, Australian, and Argentinian versions of the same game. After that, it will settle into its normal time slot of 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. Next, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Big Brother 24.
