The fast-casual chain is bringing back the fan-favorite promotion ”Boorito” for the first time since 2019. It did not return in the following years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s also the longest-running promotion at Chipotle, entering its 22nd year this year. Chipotle Rewards members will be able to snag a $6 entree for dressing up in costume after 3pm local time at one of its restaurants on Halloween. “Boorito is all about having fun with your friends and enjoying real food in our restaurants,” said Chipotle Chief Marketing Officer Chris Brandt. “After two years of celebrating virtually, we’re leveling up the in-person experience with fun activations on social that will help bring fans together on Halloween.” The promo is only valid in-store and will not extend to delivery, digital or catering orders! Customers must scan the app at the register.  The chain is also launching “BooReal” on BeReal, a Gen Z social media platform. The promotion requires users to post a photo in their Halloween costume, in-store, to enter to win free burritos for a year. Users must use the hashtag #booritosweepstakes. They can also enter by sharing the BeReal to Instagram Stories with the same hashtag a tagging @chipotle. There’s also a cash app contest—you can find more details and rules about the contests here.
