Pepsico Inc. formally announced a recall for the pre-packaged Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot Energy Coffee Beverage last week due to a risk of foreign material contamination—specifically metal fragments. While the voluntary recall was initiated last month, the formal announcement wasn’t made through the U.S. Food and Drug Administration until this month. The parent company has also not yet released the affected lot codes or expiration dates but reported that 221 cases (each containing 12 15-ounce bottles) are involved, sold in retailers throughout Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma and Texas....

This year’s seasonal artistry comes from two favorite fall drinks: bourbon and coffee.
